Works Global provides diagnostic and repair services for theatrical motorized under-stage, over-stage and over-house equipment. We take great pride in servicing and bring new life to aging equipment that, by today’s technological standards, may be considered obsolete and no longer serviced by the manufacturer.
Founded in 1999 by Randal Worker, we specialize in control system design and have the expertise and experience to provide control system diagnostics, design and upgrades, plus the design and development of related custom equipment.
Other services we provide include consulting, routine maintenance, installation, modification and repair for theatrical and industrial lifts, both mechanical and hydraulic. We offer site specific training to ensure our clients better understand their systems, including the development of User Manuals.
Results of our efforts can be seen on five continents having served over 250 clients. Venues include cultural centers, theaters, auditoriums, public and private schools, cruise ships, casinos, military establishments, universities, observatories, religious facilities, performing arts centers and even a police academy.
We bring new life to aging equipment by transforming existing features and introducing new design components that will maximize potential and longevity.

Theatrical Control System Design
As control systems for theatrical use differ, be it for over-stage motorized rigging or a moveable acoustical ceiling or for under-stage lifts, each system is designed for the specific requirements that pertain to that piece of equipment and its desired outcome.
